Access vital weather information with the Baron Threat Net app on your mobile device. The companion app, available on iPhone, provides essential weather intelligence for situations where lives and property are at risk. Users can access real-time weather data, such as nationwide and local radar, National Weather Service alerts, Baron’s proprietary storm tracks, and more.

The app equips users with the necessary information to safeguard their areas of responsibility conveniently at their fingertips. It allows monitoring of tornado threats, floods, hail, and severe winds that pose risks to critical locations. Designed for public safety and emergency management professionals, the user-friendly interface ensures ease of use even while on the move.

Please note that the Baron Threat Net app is intended for use in conjunction with the Baron Threat Net service and requires a subscription. Users can log in using their existing Baron Threat Net account once they have downloaded and launched the app.

Access high-resolution local radar or a national view to pinpoint areas of heavy rain and potential flooding accurately.
Utilize Baron Storm Vectors to predict a storm’s movement up to one hour in advance while identifying hidden threats within each storm.
View cloud-to-ground lightning data to determine the exact locations of lightning strikes in the area (supplied by Earth Networks).
Assess tornado risk instantly using the exclusive Baron Tornado Index (BTI), which ranks probability on a scale of 1-10.
Benefit from local street-level mapping for evaluating localized threats and their impact on specific roadways and locations.
Identify regions with high wind shear that may indicate tornadic conditions with the Severe Winds feature.
Locate areas prone to flooding, hail, and tornadoes at a glance using the Severe Threats tool.
Utilize the Future Radar tool to forecast heavy rain, storms, snow, or wintry conditions up to one hour ahead.
Access National Weather Service alerts and official SPC Outlooks for 1, 2, and 3 days in advance.
Stay informed about developments in tropical weather with Tropical Tracks and Tropical Track Forecasts.
